Terms of service

Last updated 28 September 2026 · Draft pending legal review

These terms apply when a clinic, and the doctors and staff it invites, use Blitho. By applying for or using Blitho you agree to them. How personal data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

A closed beta

Blitho is in closed beta. Access is given only to registered medical practitioners in India whose application we have verified by hand. We may decline an application, and we may suspend a clinic whose verification cannot be completed.

Beta software changes often. We will tell you before we remove something you rely on, but features may change, and there will be occasional problems. Tell us when something breaks and we will fix it.

Your account

  • The clinic owner is responsible for who they invite, and for the roles they give them.
  • Keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Information you give us, including your registration details, must be true.

Clinical responsibility

Blitho is a record-keeping and practice-management tool. It does not give medical advice and does not replace your clinical judgement. Suggestions such as drug-safety alerts are aids, not decisions: every diagnosis, prescription and dose remains the responsibility of the treating practitioner.

Your clinic's data

Patient records belong to your clinic. We process them only to provide Blitho to you, under the data processing agreement between us. You can export your data at any time, including when you leave.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the patient data you record, including the notices and consents the DPDP Act requires, and for messages you choose to send to patients.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Blitho for anything unlawful, or to send messages patients have not agreed to receive.
  • Do not try to reach another clinic’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or get round its limits.
  • Do not resell or give access to Blitho outside your clinic.

Fees

Prices are as published on our website, excluding GST. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change applies to you.

Suspension and ending the service

You can stop using Blitho at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where the law requires it. Except where the law or an emergency requires otherwise, we will warn you first and give you time to export your data.

Liability

We work hard to keep Blitho available and correct, but during the beta it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we change them, we will update this page and email clinic owners before the change applies.
